Big Win for 1's

Big Pet Store sponsored Halesowen CC first team maintained their 3rd position in the League thanks to another resounding victory this time at Oswestry CC. Batting first Oswestry quickly had the brakes put on them as Eddie Rhodes (2-38) and Tom Wickstead (2-31) reduced the home team to 91-6 thanks also to a couple of smart run-outs. It was then left to the new-boy overseas signing Dylan Ross Watt to mop up the tail which he did in fine style picking up 3-44 off his 14 overs.

Halesowen then had a sticky start as Jujhar Johal was bowled for 0 by the threatening Miles but once gain Ed Kilbee (83*) supported by Hassan Quami (23) steered Halesowen home in just 24 overs to win by 6 wickets.
