The annual Halesowen Cricket Club winter quiz league has returned. Now in its fifth year, the quiz hosted by quiz master Russell Johnson continues to grow and go from strength to strength.
Details of the quiz nights are as below:
- Each quiz night costs just £2.00 per player
- Teams can have any number of players – no limit
- Cash prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at the end of the league
- 8 separate quiz nights for you to play at, your best six combined scores count towards the league standings. So if you only enter six quizzes, all six will count. Any less than six and you will be credited with the number of separate nights you have entered.
- Unique ‘On the Night’ Lottery quiz where every person has the chance to win £108. Each player who pays £2.00 is given a raffle ticket. Three tickets are drawn. Each of the three are asked the same question with the order of players asked determined by the draw of their ticket. The prize fund reduces by a third each time a player gets the answer wrong. If no one answers the question correctly then the fund rolls over to the next quiz.
- All Quiz nights commence at 8.30pm with the licensed bar open until 11.00pm.
