Seth Somers Park – Main Halesowen Ground

From the North East of Birmingham:

Using the M6

• Join the M6 at either J6 or J7, taking the Northbound direction.
• At J8a, leave the motorway and join the M5 southbound.
• Leave the M5 at J3, and at the roundabout take the 3^rd exit, signposted A456 (Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

Using the A4040

• From the A452, take the A5127 travelling towards Birmingham.
• From the A5127, take the A4040 (Marsh Hill)
• Stay on the A4040 for approximately 4.5 miles
• At the T junction, turn right onto the A41 (signposted West Bromwich)
• At M5 J1, take the Southbound M5
• Leave the M5 at J3, and at the roundabout take the 3^rd exit, signposted A456 (Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

From Northwest Birmingham

Using the M5

• Join the M5 Southbound at J1 Leave the M5 at J3, and at the roundabout take the 3^rd exit, signposted A456 (Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

Using the Hagley Road

• Join the Hagley Road, using either the Bearwood Road (A4030) or City Road (A4040).
• Going in the direction for Halesowen and Kidderminster, continue until J3 of the M5.
• At J3 of the M5, take the 2^nd exit, signposted A456, Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

From Southwest Birmingham

Using the motorway

• From the B4121, go Southbound, and join the A38 (Bristol Road) Southbound.
• From the A38 (Bristol Road), continue forward until J4 of the M5, past Rubery.
• At J4 of the M5, take the third exit signposted A491 (Bromsgrove and Stourbridge)
• Take the first right onto the B4551 (Money Lane)
• Continue along this road past the Manchester Inn and the Sun Pub, until it becomes Grange Hill.
• At the bottom of Grange Hill, take the 2^nd exit at the roundabout (signposted A459, Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

Using the A456 Hagley Road

• From the B4121, go Northbound.
• At the island, continue onto the B4121 (West Boulevard), and at the next island take the 2^nd exit onto the A4123.
• At the crossroads, turn left onto the A456 (towards Kidderminster).
• Continue until J3 of the M5.
• At J3 of the M5, take the 2^nd exit, signposted A456, Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

Using the A38

• From the A38, go northbound until the crossroads with the A4540. Turn left here.
• At the Five Ways Island, take the 2^nd exit onto the A456 signposted Kidderminster.
• Continue until J3 of the M5.
• At J3 of the M5, take the 2^nd exit, signposted A456, Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

From South Birmingham and Solihull

Using the M42

• Take the southbound route on the A441, A435, or A34 (to J2, J3 and J4 respectively) travelling in the southbound direction.
• At the end of the motorway, take the M5 northbound.
• Leave the M5 at J3, and at the roundabout take the 1st exit, signposted A456 (Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

via Five Ways

• Take the A441, A435 or A34 travelling towards Birmingham City Centre
• Where the road meets the A4540, turn left onto the A4540 towards Five Ways Island.
• At the Five Ways Island, take the 2^nd exit onto the A456 signposted Kidderminster.
• Continue until J3 of the M5.
• At J3 of the M5, take the 2^nd exit, signposted A456, Kidderminster)
• On the A456 (Manor Way), go past Sandvik on your right.
• At the island, take the 3^rd exit (A459, Grange Road, signposted Halesowen)
• Take the first left into Dog Kennel Lane, and immediately turn left into the cricket club car park.

To the Earls High School (3rd and 4th team ground)

• Turn left out of the club car park, down Dog Kennel Lane
• Take the second right onto Summer Hill
• At the bottom of Summer Hill, left turn-only onto the A459
• At the roundabout, take the fifth exit, back on yourself to follow the A459 in the opposite direction
• At the traffic lights, follow the road ahead, passing McDonald’s on your right
• At the large roundabout, take the first exit onto the A458 (Whitehall Road)
• At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Furnace Lane
• Passing the school on your right, continue up Furnace Lane, taking the first right turn after the main school entrance.
• This will bring you into the car park, by the tennis courts. For the ground, follow the pathway at the far end of the car park.
