Sport England Club Mark and ECB Accreditation and Youth Cricket Policies

Halesowen are proud to have been accredited with the ECB Clubmark (Registration number 01113) and the Sport England Clubmark Accreditations (CR1132).

Sport England Clubmark is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.

ECB Clubmark gives clubs an opportunity to write and implement new procedures as well as acknowledge existing practices. Cricket clubs are required to present evidence and demonstrate implementation across four different themes, culminating in the production of a Club Development Plan.

The four themes are:

  1. Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children
  2. The Cricket Programme
  3. Knowing your club and its Community – One Game
  4. Club Management

For all policies relating the the Clubmark accreditation, please find this displayed below.

For any queries relating to welfare or safeguarding of children please contact our club Welfare Officer Carl Bust
